I think colour has not yet unfold all its sensuality, all its revolutionary and subversive potential in painting, where it was for a long time controled, codified, and limited. For Charles Blanc*, its part in art is feminine, and has to be submitted to drawing - he calls masculine - like feeling must be submitted to reason : otherwise, painting would be "lost by colour, like humanity was lost by Eve".
Is my painting "lost", or, on the contrary, magnified, transcended by colour, that occupies the first place ? It’s up to you to take the risk to bite into the forbidden and delicious fruit of colour, going on your visit !
